Department of Banking, Insurance and Financial Markets

The primary objective of the Department of Banking, Insurance and Financial Markets is to develop leaders for firms, government and educational communities, and to assist them in making contributions to the society. This objective is achieved in two ways.

The students are provided with the theoretical concepts required for understanding and analyses of business problems. Combining theoretical knowledge with case studies and research prepares students for financial analysis in their areas of study. In addition to this, we encourage students to participate in off-campus internships, which provides them with valuable practical business experience while still at college.

The Department offers program leading to the degree Bachelor of Applied Economics, Course of Study: Banking, Insurance and Financial Markets.
